This practice was carried out when we went through CANCER treatment too! Like Bowel Reduction to cut out a dukescsigmoidadenocarsinoma in the bowel, and the 52 weeks of chemotheraphy that followed! There is no doubt in my mind that this is the standard practice in every hospital worldwide!
